This will help the parties to reach a middle ground in overlapping situations.

5. Proper articulation

One must need to have a strong belief in what one is negotiating. Proper articulation of the issues you are negotiating on will help in running the negotiation round smoothly. Become a master at presenting your ideas will help others see your value. Firstly, be direct when presenting a situation. Secondly, be clear about your expectations. Discuss ways to apply how it can happen. Moreover, don’t simply talk about what needs to happen. Finally, discuss the consequences i.e., how your solution will be beneficial to the other party.
